Rifò and Fody: a T-shirt that tells the story of a shared supply chain
This collaboration stems from a very concrete common ground:
giving value to what risks being excluded. Rifò starts with the material: regenerated cotton from Prato, made from pre- and post-consumer textile waste.
Fody adds the work of people: every T-shirt is personalised by hand in our workshops, as part of work inclusion programmes for people with intellectual disabilities.
The result is a capsule collection that is simple only in appearance: a minimalist, unisex T-shirt, made from responsibly sourced material and bearing the unique mark of the person who crafted it.
T-Shirt Unisex
Recycled cotton, unisex fit, four colours and a range of sizes.
Each T-shirt is hand-customised with the Fody stamp.
A simple T-shirt, made from recycled fabric and with the help of people who transform a basic garment into something distinctive.
Reclaimed cotton:
giving fibres a new lease of life
Rifò’s regenerated cotton is produced by recovering textile waste, which is transformed into new fibres through a mechanical process. In this way, existing materials are given a new lease of life, reducing the consumption of water, energy and new raw materials.
To ensure softness and durability, Rifò combines regenerated cotton with certified organic cotton. The result is a more sustainable, comfortable material designed to last.
Circular fashion: Made in Italy
Rifò transforms regenerated fibres and recovered materials into essential garments, designed to last and to reduce the impact of the fashion industry. Every product stems from a simple yet practical idea: to give new value to what would otherwise be discarded, without compromising on quality, craftsmanship or design.
Local production, textile recycling and pre-sales are all part of a different approach to creating clothing: one that is more conscious, more transparent and less tied to the wastefulness of fast fashion. A fashion crafted with care, looking to the future by building on what we already have at our disposal.
Why isn’t this just an ordinary T-shirt?
